Quick help for Ukrainian people in need of care

Berlin, Schermbeck, 28.02.2022 - The war in Ukraine is causing unimaginable suffering.

The international community's willingness to help is great. Under the hashtag

#health4ukraine, a private group from Germany is now organizing special transports of

mobility-impaired people, people in need of care and their relatives to safe

areas, as well as the referral of affected persons from the war zone to care facilities throughout all over Germany.


Christine Vogler, Sascha Platen and Björn Zeien have launched the initiative. They

are in contact with the Ukrainian embassy and coordinate Ukrainian-speaking

contact persons in the country and in neighboring countries.


The group calls on care facilities to report vacancies to the Ukrainian embassy and to
