It works, the initiators of #health4ukraine thought, after Stavoula Lili-Kokkori contacted them via LinkedIn. "I spoke with Silvana Loß" she wrote, "She would take in ten fellow Ukrainians in need of care". She had also already solved the problem of a lack of nursing staff: "I work for the DRK, we can organize that. No sooner said than done. Yesterday, the first people in need of care arrived in Halle, and the number of available beds has now risen to 38 places thanks to additional providers. Transport trips are organized by the initiative, and private supporters cover the costs.
Important for Christine Vogler, Sascha Platen and Björn Zeien (the initiators of health4ukraine):
To all care institutions that can offer free capacity for Ukrainian care recipients, please contact us at https://www.health-h.de/health4ukraine or by mail to health4ukraine@health-h.de. Thank you!
