Helped over 700 fellow Ukrainians with handicap

After a good two weeks, the private initiative #health4ukraine is once again taking stock: more than 700 Ukrainian refugees with mental and physical disabilities have now been helped. The support provided is diverse: from accommodation in private homes, inpatient facilities with professional care, but also in the coordination and transport itself, a wide range of topics is covered. "But also the establishment of a fuel warehouse in Ukraine could be realized with the donations" shared Sascha Platen "to ensure the transport of care recipients within Ukraine continues" he continues.


"Among the supported are people in need of care, wheelchair users but also many children, partly with hemiplegia, who already have a hard time even in peaceful times." Björn Zeien points out. It is important to #heath4ukraine that the donations directly benefit those in need of care. As mentioned, the monetary donations will be used to buy fuel for the transports as well as food and daily necessities for the people in need and to support a care facility in the border region in Moldova.
